Franklin Delano Bluth

GOB's African-American puppet, Franklin essentially portrays a stereotype of black people through his frequent cursing and abusive behavior. He makes his first appearance in the episode Meat the Veals.

He's made moves on Lucille and has pointed out George Michael's "cracker ass" in the past. On more than one occasion, Franklin has been used to plant ether-laced kisses on victims in order to knock them out.

In Righteous Brothers, GOB records a CD with Franklin, titled "Franklin Comes Alive" (sound familiar?), a reference to the Peter Frampton CD, "Frampton Comes Alive". One notable track on the CD is "It Ain't Easy Bein' White, It Ain't Easy Bein' Brown". However, any promise of a prominent music career is cut tragically short when Franklin is unintentionally bleached. He returns in season 3, redyed to his previous color.
