What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is exactly what it sounds like: fans gathered together in a single list to show their love for a particular subject. A website is not required to join; the only information needed is a name and a country though many fanlistings also require a valid email address.
About the album
Arguably Radiohead's breakthrough album, OK Computer was released in 1997 to widespread critical acclaim. Musically, the album marked a significant shift from the more conventional rock songs of the band's previous albums towards a more extensive style that included the use of electronic effects, strings, and electric piano. This sound hinted towards the ambitious turns the band would take with their follow-up album, Kid A.
The central themes of technological ubiquity, social alienation, and rampant consumerism have contributed to the album's continuing cultural potency. OK Computer first signalled itself as a cautious warning of the impending future, and it speaks to the endurance of the work that the anxieties the album first expressed over a decade ago still remain highly relevant now.
